Catalyst-Inflatable Structures with Architecture + Vision

Inflatables–I had decided against investigating inflatables early on as they seemed to be not the other types of fabric structures I’d looked at. Well, it came roaring back the week before spring break as Andreas Vogler and Arturo Vittori of Architecture + Vision

Catalyst Week at UMN is held the week before spring break and is a chance to intensely workshop with invited guests on a particular topic. Architecture + Vision’s Andreas Vogler and Arturo Vittori came to UMN from Switzerland and Italy, respectively, to lead an inflatable structures workshop with graduate architecture students and open an exhibit in the Rapson Hall HGA gallery called From Pyramids to Spacecraft.

My awesome teammates for the weeklong adventure in inflatables: Ross, Aaron, Brita, Angela, Jack, Bjorn, Christie,Nathan, Jonathan, Kaitlin, Ian.
