Attractors

04Mar10

I came across this image during an afternoon spent in some delightful google image searching. An attractor, as I learned from Wikipedia (also the source of this image), “is a set to which a dynamical system evolves after a long enough time.”

Part of me doesn’t want to read further and let facts spoil my completely emotional reaction to this image. I love the sense of movement that is captured by the shifting colors and swirling forms.

The technology to create this image reminds me that I haven’t done much to further my grasshopper knowledge in any applicable way. Lots of tutorials without much to show it right now. But if you look at my interim review boards in the previous post you’ll see I did have one successful grasshopper experiment.

Attractors, just enjoy.
